The choice is\nyours; do you build it yourself, or do you employ the services of web\ndesigners?&nbsp; There are pros and cons to\nboth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"306\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.marketingteacher.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/marketing-teacher-your-website.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7095\" srcset=\"https:\/\/marketingteacher.com\/staging\/5483\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/marketing-teacher-your-website.jpg 433w, https:\/\/marketingteacher.com\/staging\/5483\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/marketing-teacher-your-website-300x212.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 433px) 100vw, 433px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Your website\nis a fundamental part of your business<\/em><em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Build your\nown website<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You have control.&nbsp; Everything on the website is how you\n     want it.&nbsp; From small things such as\n     where the logo should fit, to more important and more complex operations\n     such as how you might sell online.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It can be cheaper.&nbsp; If you\u2019ve explored how much that your\n     website will cost, you realise that there\u2019s a huge amount of choice.&nbsp; To get a fully functional dynamic\n     website, the cost is sometimes prohibitive. Therefore, if you build it\n     yourself the cost will be much lower.&nbsp;\n     Take into account the amount of hours that you need to put into\n     it.&nbsp; If your business has nothing to\n     do with digital technology, and you have no skills and experience, it\n     might be better to get one built for you.&nbsp;\n     <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You learn about the Internet and social\n     media yourself, and you can exploit that new knowledge. We\u2019ve used terms\n     such as <em>smoke and mirrors<\/em> and <em>hot air<\/em> a few times during a\n     discussion of digital marketing.&nbsp;\n     One way to overcome this problem is to learn more about the\n     Internet and social media by yourself.&nbsp;\n     That way It is less likely that you will be exploited, and you\u2019ll\n     have a less stressful time developing your online presence.&nbsp; Learning is an important part of your\n     small business, and It is likely that you\u2019ll need to know the basics when\n     discussing digital marketing with others.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It takes more time, when you could be\n     working on your business.
