Free Marketing Courses

Marketing Teacher has offered free lessons since 2000. Now we’re building on that with structured, self-paced courses — each one organised into modules, with quizzes to check your understanding as you go, so you can learn a topic properly from start to finish rather than jumping between individual articles.

Why take a Marketing Teacher course?

  • Grounded in real curricula. Our courses are structured around the same topics taught in university “Principles of Marketing” modules and the CIM’s professional marketing syllabus — not a random collection of tips.
  • Built for beginners. No prior marketing knowledge is assumed. Each course starts from first principles and builds up, module by module.
  • Free, always. Every course on this page is free to enrol in and complete. No trial period, no credit card.
  • Learn at your own pace. Work through modules whenever suits you, and pick up where you left off.
  • Test yourself as you go. Every module ends with a short quiz, so you know you’ve actually understood the material before moving on.
  • From theory to real-world application. Frameworks and models are explained through worked examples and practical scenarios, not just definitions.

How it works

  1. Create a free account. You’ll need one to enrol and to track your progress.
  2. Enrol in a course. Browse the course(s) below and enrol in the one that fits what you want to learn.
  3. Work through the modules in order. Each module builds on the last, so it’s worth taking them in sequence.
  4. Take each module’s quiz. A short quiz at the end of every module checks your understanding before you move on.
  5. Finish at your own pace. There’s no deadline — come back whenever you have time.
