Marketing Teacher is owned and written by Tim Friesner. All lessons, diagrams, lesson plan guides, presentation decks, posters and worksheets published at marketingteacher.com are his original work unless a page states otherwise.
Downloadable teaching resources
All files offered for download from the For Teachers page — lesson plan guides (PDF), presentation decks (PPTX), posters (PNG) and worksheets (PDF) — are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0).
Under that licence you are free to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform and build upon the material) for any purpose, including commercially, and including on fee-charging courses.
The licence is conditional on attribution: you must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the licence, and indicate if changes were made. You may do this in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests Marketing Teacher endorses you or your use.

The lesson pages at marketingteacher.com are not released under CC BY 4.0. Permission is granted, freely and without further request, to:
- link to any lesson page from a course, reading list or virtual learning environment;
- embed any lesson page in a virtual learning environment using an iframe or equivalent (see how to embed a lesson);
- display a lesson page in class.
Permission is not granted to reproduce the text of a lesson page on another website or in a publicly distributed document. This is to avoid duplicate content competing with the original in search results.
What this licence does not cover
- Third-party material. Where a page or file includes an image, quotation or example owned by someone else, it is identified as such and is not covered by this licence.
- Trade marks. The Marketing Teacher name and logo are not licensed for reuse. Use them to credit us, not to brand your own material.
